Historic Penn's Store is the oldest country store in America in continuous ownership and operation by the same family since 1850. Perryville's Merchants Row is a series of original 1800s buildings with restaurant, gift shops, and museums in historic downtown Perryville. Fabric art depicting Perryville just before the Civil War battle began is displayed in the Community Center. Call (859) 332-1862.

Pioneer Playhouse

Pioneer Playhouse
At Pioneer Playhouse you can see up and coming new stars. Lee Majors, Bo Hopkins, John Travolta and Jim Varney spent summers here. You can wander through an antique village, feast on a delicious meal (no tipping, please), and enjoy the sounds of folk guitar. Old Crow Inn Vineyard and Winery
Old Crow Inn Vineyard and Winery, under the French name Chateau du Vieux Corbeau meaning House of Old Crow, was started in the year 2000 by the Brousseau family. It is at the same location as historic Old Crow Inn Bed & Breakfast, which occupies one wing of the Crow-Barbee House. The Vineyard features both white and red French-Hybrid grapes for wine production, as well as red, white and blue American Table Grapes for eating out of hand. Wines are available for tasting and retail purchase in the tasting room. Tours of the winery are available and the Chateau Deli and gift shop are open.

Jacobs Hall
Jacobs Hall
Jacobs Hall is a restored Italianate structure on the campus of Kentucky School for the Deaf, the first school of its kind in the nation. Come see their historical re-creation of an 1850's student dorm and classroom. The museum also offers a video and a gift shop. The recently finished renovations have been awarded the Cecil Dulin Wallace award for Preservation given by the Heart of Danville and the Ida Lee Willis Preservation Project Award from the Heritage Council of Kentucky. Community Arts Center
The Community Arts Center on Main Street in Danville is open Tuesday - Saturday for your enjoyment. You are welcome to visit artist David Farmer in his working studio inside the center. Displays change frequently. Several other nationally and internationally known artists and craftsmen/women have studios in the Danville-Boyle county area. You are welcome to visit these studios and observe these fine artists at work. Glass-blowing, pottery, stained glass, and painting are just a few of the Fine Arts available in our area.

Central Kentucky Wildlife Refuge
Central Kentucky Wildlife Refuge
The Central Kentucky Wildlife Refuge contains more than 500 acres in the knoblands of Boyle County. The beautiful grounds reveal diverse indigenous plants, wildlife, a pond, and walking trails from easy to strenuous. John W.D. Bowling Model Train Museum
The John W.D. Bowling Model Train Museum has 2,600 linear feet of track and 1-1/2 miles of wiring. Built in the HO scale of 1 to 87, it features a Kentucky autumn landscape of the 1950's. With 6,000 handmade trees,1,200 figures, and 250 structures, it is the largest privately held permanent layout in Kentucky. Open by appointment. $5 per person. Lightning Valley MotorSports Park

The JFC Museum
